HOUSING GUIDE

for the University of Pittsburgh Community

If you’re a student at PITT, you’ve probably heard of University Commons before. Heck, maybe you’ve even been there. But if you haven’t, here’s the lowdown. University Commons is an undergraduate student housing hub in the heart of Oakland. It consists of four separate buildings with one, two, and three bedroom floor plans. Whether you’re planing on living alone or moving in with two of your besties and/or bros, our floor plans have spacious living areas and private bedrooms to fit your needs.

Apartments include updated interiors, kitchens, and bathrooms. Some units have exposed brick, original fireplace mantles, and outdoor patios. Plus, laundry facilities are in the building and parking is available in our private lot for an additional fee. But if you’re just going to and from campus each day, it’s only a short walk, so a car isn’t totally necessary. And when you don’t feel like walking (no judgement here), the PITT Shuttle can pick you up at the stop right outside your door at the corner of Dawson and South Bouquet.
